Those of us in the programming and computing space have long known that artificial intelligence would arrive in the real world for decades and now it finally has. So far, we see its use as a tool to make faster, more efficient, and better decisions using very large data sets that humans and ordinary computers struggle to manipulate and use as decision tools. While these uses may seem harmless and what we want, faster and more reliable decision-making, especially in government, there are real dangers on the AI superhighway ahead of us that we must identify, plan for, and establish ethics frameworks to prevent harm to individual Americans. My guest back with us today is Jeff Dornik, a man who stands on principle, is not afraid to ask the hard questions, and fights to get the truth to the American people. He’s here to do discuss government use of AI and recently wrote an op-ed for Newsweek voicing his concerns. Jeff is CEO of Pickax, an author, podcast host and an independent media network creator.
