Shen Yun is a classical Chinese dance troupe based in upstate New York dedicated to showcasing traditional culture, faces bomb threats and violent emails on a daily basis, often linked to the Chinese Communist Party. Shen Yun was created to revive China’s traditions—showcasing its beauty before communism. Now, reports indicate that the CCP is influencing mainstream media and regulatory agencies to push its agenda—a strategy that could be used against any institution in the future.
