Elon Musk has been named by President – Elect Trump to lead an effort called the Department of government efficiency or DOGE that could save upward of $2 Trillion dollars according to statements he as made. The idea is not new, in fact state auditors focus on saving our tax dollars by identifying efficiency opportunities and rooting out government corruption.
