The Pipe Hitter Foundation is committed to defending the rights and freedoms of our men and women in uniform -- the same rights and freedoms they risk their lives to uphold. They provide immediate and ongoing support to service members, first responders and their families by raising legal defense funds and paying associated expenses to uniformed personnel who need it. US Navy sailor Harrison Tayse is being supported by the foundation. Tayse is a 21-year-old sailor who enlisted in the Navy after graduating from high school. While playing a game of pool on-base, a fight broke out, and Harrison was stabbed eight times. He was life-flighted to a trauma center and required surgery to remove a knife from his skull. At one point, the Navy even thought he had died from his injuries. Before retiring, Foundation Director Eddie Gallagher spent over 20 years serving in the United States Navy. 5 of those years he spent with the Marines where he deployed as a medic and Scout Sniper. The last 15 he spent serving with the special operations community where he deployed numerous times with SEAL Team ONE and Team SEVEN.
